In this map, earthquakes included in a Poissonian North-Moroccan catalog (27ºN-37ºN, 15ºW-1ºE) aimed to seismic hazard assessment studies are shown. The catalog file can be downloaded from the University of Jaén web site at: http://www.ujaen.es/investiga/rnm217/moroccan_catalog.xls. To compile this catalog, updated to 2005, data from different local and international seismological agencies have been collected as well as from numerous published papers concerning the seismicity of the region, including both historical and instrumental events.
