Peter Connolly

Peter Connolly (1935-2012) fue uno de los más importantes investigadores británicos del mundo antiguo, historiador y arqueólogo especializado en equipamiento militar romano y griego, y afamado ilustrador histórico. Connolly estudió en la facultad de Arte de la Universidad de Brighton (Brighton College of Arts and Crafts) y escribió su primer libro, The roman army, en 1975. A este le seguirían una veintena de obras ilustradas sobre el mundo antiguo, tales como Pompeii, Greece and Rome at War,The Greek Armies, The Roman Army, Colosseum: Rome's Arena of Death, and the award-winning Legend of Odysseus.
