A compilation of fantasy landscapes by Mark Harrison. These include his book jackets for Sherri Tepper's, The Gate to Woman's Country and Barry Hughart's:The Story of the Stone. Also included are his creations for writers as diverse as PD James and Isabel Allende.
Mark Harrison's landscapes are imaginitively conceived and finely executed. There is a pristine quality reminiscent of Magritte. Harrison says a lot of ideas come to him from dreams, but most of the pictures in this collection - used for book covers - come from a manuscript.
