F. D. Bedford's wonderful illustrations have been beautifully coloured by Barbara Frith, one of Britain's leading colourists.

James Mattew Barrie(1860-1938) va ser un novel·lista i dramaturg escocès. Abans de publicar l'exitosaPeter Pan, havia escrit novel·les i obres de teatre.Peter Panprimer va aparèixer com a obra de teatre el 1904 i, posteriorment, passat a novel·la el 1911.Javier Andrada dedica la seva feina a dos àmbits fonamentals: la pintura i la il·lustració. Ha il·lustrat llibres infantils i juvenils de diferents editorials i col·leccions. Podem destacar la seva feina en la col·lecció «Petits universals» de La Galera, amb títols com araEls tres mosqueters,El llibre de la selvaoL'illa del tresor, entre d'altres.
