Fran Nuño nació en 1973 y vive en Sevilla. Es escritor y propietario de una librería-editorial especializada en artes escénicas, poesía y en literatura infantil (Librería Nuño Editorial www.librerianunoeditorial.com). Realiza y gestiona numerosas actividades culturales en colegios, bibliotecas y salas de teatro. Ha sido colaborador habitual durante cinco años en Radio Sevilla (Cadena Ser), recomendando libros para niños y adultos. Durante cuatro años consecutivos (2004-07) se ha clasificado como finalista en el Premio Librero Cultural que otorga CEGAL y el Ministerio de Cultura, por mantener una continuada programación cultural durante todo el año con su proyecto Librería Nuño producciones. Ha publicado más de quince libros de literatura infantil-juvenil en diversas editoriales, poesía en varias antologías y revistas culturales, dos poemarios para adultos y un manual de técnicas de animación a la lectura. Habitualmente sus obras de teatro infantil se representan en colegios y teatros. Ha sido traducido al gallego, catalán e inglés y algunos de sus libros se comercializan en buena parte de Suramérica, EEUU, Canadá, Japón...
