Raphael Honigstein (Múnich, 1973), es un periodista alemán afincado en Londres desde 1993, especializado en el fútbol alemán y la Premier League. Es el corresponsal de fútbol inglés del diario alemán Süddeutsche Zeitung, y también fue el corresponsal en la liga alemana de The Guardian y la emisora de radio talkSPORT. Comentarista de TV en BT Sport y ESPN así como en Sky en Alemania. Escribe además para las revistas de fútbol 11Freunde en Alemania y The Blizzard en el Reino Unido. Actualmente publica en la sección británica de The Athletic. Entre sus libros, su primero, Englischer Fussball, fue nominado a mejor libro de fútbol del año, siendo su publicación más reciente Das Reboot: How German Football Reinvented Itself and Conquered the World.
