Since the beginning of my unceasing activity as a teacher determined in providing students and biomedical professionals a clear conception of an abstract discipline, usually considered inaccessible due to the mathematical basis that supports it, I caressed the project of editing a few pages in which, without a single equation, I would be able to convey the philosophical contents of the Statistical Method as a irreplaceable weapon in the struggle of the researcher against Life's variability.Many years have had pass until this project could acquire the form of reality that today, with the humility of whom presents a small job, but well meditated, I submit to the consideration of those that with it will be able, by means of a purely conceptual knowledge of the Method, to love Biostatistics a little more.
