Alan Hollinghurst (Stroud, Gloucestershire, 1954) estudió en Oxford, fue profesor en el Magdalen College de dicha universidad, en el University College de Londres y en otras universidades. Ha sido también miembro del comité de redacción del Times Literary Supplement. En Anagrama se han publicado todas sus novelas: La biblioteca de la piscina (Premio Somerset Maugham 1988 y Premio E. M.
