Just… wow. 🎧📚 I already expected this to be a great book, but I genuinely didn’t think it would affect me this much. I laughed, cried, and got completely pulled into the story from start to finish. And the audiobook? Absolutely incredible. Tatiana Maslany delivered such an emotional and immersive performance that it elevated the entire experience. I’m usually a 2x speed kind of listener, but with her narration, I couldn’t do it. The emotion, pacing, and natural flow of her reading are so compelling that you just get completely absorbed in it. If you ever get the chance to listen to this audiobook, do it. Seriously.

Of course a well known and well loved book, after reading it again for the first time in my adult life the writing style is notably for a slightly younger but the message reins true, people are power and change is better than the hell we’ve got comfortable living

I read it when I was a teenager, loved it, and started rereading it in English while teaching a teenager, and it was an incredible experience. It's a perfect book for 14-16 year-olds, quite simple but challenging to read in English. If you have a B2 or First level, you can read it without fear.
