Max Porter (High Wycombe, Regne Unit, 1981) és editor dels segells Granta i Portobello Books. La seva primera novel·la, El dol és aquella cosa amb ales (2016), va guanyar molts premis internacionals, entre els quals destaquen el Dylan Thomas i el Sunday Times/Peters, Fraser + Dunlop Young Writers of the Year, i va ser finalista del Guardian First Book Award i del Goldsmiths Prize.
