The Cathedral of Jaén under Scrutiny IThis book revisits this incomparable instance of Spanish Renaissance architecture from a universal perspective. On the one hand, it deals with the architectural design values, both typological and constructive, as well as with the issues derived from various interventions within the Spanish context. On the other hand, it explores the links with major masters and works of architecture outside Spain, Italy and France, as well as their projection in America. Finally, it examines how the image of the cathedral of Jaén has been transmitted, as well as how it has been critically approached
